Sarah Symons joined ABA Lawyers in June 2019. Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of the Sunshine Coast, in one of the first intakes of law students, and her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (GradDipLP) from the College of Law in Brisbane.

Sarah was admitted to the legal profession in June 2019 and has been admitted to practise in the High Court of Australia since July 2019. Sarah is also a Justice of the Peace (Qual). Sarah practises primarily in family law, however oversees the firm's conveyancing needs and supervises our conveyancing assistants. 

Sarah is able to provide competent advice, negotiate on your behalf, and attend court (where necessary) in relation to the following areas:

  • Separation and Divorce
  • Property Settlements and Financial Restructuring for married, de facto, and same-sex couples
  • Parenting arrangements, including with whom a child may live or spend time
  • Cohabitation and Binding Financial Agreements
  • Issues involving Domestic Violence
  • Probate Issues
  • Wills/Estate Issues
  • Residential and commercial conveyancing, including drafting Contracts of Sale, advising on Contract Terms, and acting in the sale and purchase of property
